Currently, the information in the database goes back to James Owen Morgan McCaffrey, Sr. who was born in 1833 in Co. Leitrim, Ireland.
It is my intention is to take the tree as far back as possible, but it will take time and your help!
Instructions
The family tree is not displayed in a traditional tree format. The tree is displayed one person at a time. Each page displays the selected
person's name at the top of the page. All of that person's first degree relatives are listed along the left side of the page. The rest of
the page displays personal information about the selected person.
The listed relatives that are part of the blood line will be hyper-linked. Clicking on these links will display that person's page.
Navigating up the tree can be accomplished by clicking parent after parent until the top of the tree is reached.
You can find people by using the search tool--click the "search" button at the top of the page.
I have "completed" a few pages-- for myself and for some people that have passed away. I am hoping that it will inspire you to contribute
similar information about yourself. You get to decide what goes on your page!
I Need Your Help
Write a page for yourself! Post your favorite pictures and tell some fun stories. Share pictures of your children, your wedding, etc.
Otherwise you'll get stuck with whatever everyone else writes about you after you die. :)
I also need you to sumit information about people who have died. Pictures can be scanned in and emailed
to me at kathleen@berchelmann.com, or, send me a photo and I'll scan it in and return it
to you.
Submitting information is as easy as clicking the "submit info" button above. The information you submit will be added to the database once it has been processed and formatted for the web. If you provide an email address when submitting, you will be notified when the information has been added.
